I thought: “I can make a junk journal by myself, I’m an artist”. One might think “ok, but it can be tough, you know, as this is your first”, and they would be so right.

I did the pages, bought the tissue to use as “the spine”, sewed it and after two attempts the junk journal still looks like crap. No wonder why the ones I saw online were so expensive. Of course I know it’s difficult because I never made one, but still… Building a junk journal from scratch is like living a life without a job: extremely painful.
